Bill Gates on Vista and uproar over his statements

Newsweek has published an interview with Microsoft chairman Bill Gates. The interview discusses new Microsoft Windows Vista release and the future of OS development at Microsoft.Newsweek: Finally, Vista Makes Its Debut. Now What?

Bill Gates explains why you should buy his new operating system, what heÂ’s doing next and why John Hodgman bugs him.

The interview has caused an uproar, especially from Mac OSX users and community over statements made by Bill Gates regarding OSX security.

I mean, itÂ’s fascinating, maybe we shouldn’t have showed so publicly the stuff we were doing, because we knew how long the new security base was going to take us to get done. Nowadays, security guys break the Mac every single day. Every single day, they come out with a total exploit, your machine can be taken over totally. I dare anybody to do that once a month on the Windows machine.

The article entry on digg has attracted more then 500 comments, most of them angry over the statements made by Bill Gates.Digg: Bill Gates on Vista and Apple’s ‘Lying’ AdsJust as a side-note, check out the video below, Windows Vista features compared to OSX features:YouTube: The Real Windows Vista
